GLOBALink | Technologies Help Develop Modern Agriculture in North China's HebeiJune 9, 2022
SHIJIAZHUANG, June 8 (Xinhua) — Hebei in north China has been exploring ways to develop and promote modern agriculture in recent years. By boosting smart agriculture and developing agrotourism, Hebei supports modern agriculture with various policies, so as to boost farmers' income.
In a modern agricultural industrial park in Jiasong Town of Xingtai City, technology has been applied in plantation, management, data collection and analysis, as well as other processes of agricultural production.
Particularly, during the plantation process, a package of technologies has been used to ensure a favorable environment for high-quality agricultural products, including soilless cultivation, automated ventilation and irrigation, and an intelligent temperature control system. The park does not use pesticides but adopts the nutrient solution to enable the plantation to consume less water than a traditional plantation and promote the efficiency of the growing process.
